The classical Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, the most enchanting hike in South America.

This impressive and beautiful trail combines original Inca architecture in the form of a series of archaeological sites built along the original paved Inca trail, all the while hiking in varied climactic zones, from the upper ends of the jungle to the cloud forest and up to the highland puna.

The Salkantay trek, one of the most complete treks

This interesting hike is along another Inca trail, used during Inca times to connect the different sections of the Inca empire. In this hike we cross a mountain pass between snow capped mountains, (at the lower reaches the Salkantay glacier) and from there descend for 3 days, crossing gushing rivers , all the way to the jungle and on to Machu Picchu.
